Jesse S. Gill
President and Chief Executive Officer
Jesse Gill is the President & CEO of Hunter WEST Agrivoltaic Partners Corp. He leads the development of Canada’s first integrated agrivoltaics, data-centre, and greenhouse ecosystem.
With over 27 years of experience in financial services, including senior roles in commercial agriculture finance, and 18 years in winery operations, he specializes in designing infrastructure solutions that stabilize farm cash flow while maintaining productive land use.
His work is grounded in collaboration with government, academia, industry associations, and private sector partners. Following his leadership in the “Save the Grapes” initiative supporting British Columbia growers, he now focuses on building resilient food–energy–data platforms for the future of agriculture.

Claude Mindorff
Chief Technology Officer
Claude Mindorff is the Chief Technology Officer of Hunter WEST Agrivoltaic Partners Corp, bringing over 30 years of experience in energy and construction, including 19 years in the renewable energy sector.
He has founded and led multiple wind development companies, building portfolios across Ontario, Alberta, and Illinois totaling approximately 1,800 MW, later acquired by major global independent power producers and funds.
Claude has held senior leadership roles within global energy organizations, overseeing mergers and acquisitions, as well as large-scale project and portfolio development exceeding 4 GW. He plays a key role in leading development strategy, including site identification, stakeholder engagement, government relations, and execution across Canadian projects.

Jeremy Dresner
Chief Policy Officer
Jeremy Dresner is the Director of Energy Systems Design at Hunter WEST, with over 12 years of experience in the renewable energy sector.
As a founding member of Agrivoltaics Canada, he specializes in developing agrivoltaic solutions tailored to the Canadian landscape. His expertise spans the full lifecycle of project development, from early-stage planning through to construction.
Jeremy focuses on solving complex challenges at the intersection of solar energy, agriculture, and community sustainability, contributing to scalable and efficient energy-integrated farming systems.

Lyle E. Storey
Senior Account Executive, iTel Networks Inc
Lyle Storey graduated from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and has worked in the Telecommunications Industry for 10 years. He has been associated with Hunter WEST since inception and has focused on developing specialized internet services, including services tailored to each farm and private secure data access paths to the Agrivoltaic Data Centre.

Dr. Joshua M. Pearce
Senior Agrivoltaics Advisor
Dr. Joshua M. Pearce is the Senior Agrivoltaics Advisor at Hunter WEST and a leading academic in engineering and sustainable technology.
He received his Ph.D. from Pennsylvania State University, where his research contributed to the development of low-cost solar photovoltaic technologies. He currently leads the Free Appropriate Sustainable Technology (FAST) research group.
Dr. Pearce is a strong advocate for open-source innovation and contributes strategic expertise in solar technology, distributed manufacturing, and sustainable system design.

Dr. Leo de Bever
Chief Financial Officer
Leo de Bever is the Chief Financial Officer of Hunter WEST Agrivoltaic Partners Corp, bringing over four decades of leadership experience across major financial institutions in multiple countries.
He began his career at the Bank of Canada and later served as the founding CEO of the Alberta Investment Management Corporation. During his tenure at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, he pioneered the introduction of new asset classes, including infrastructure and commodities, to enhance long-term investment performance.
Since 2015, he has focused on supporting the commercialization of innovative technologies across sectors including financial technology, energy efficiency, sustainable agriculture, and modular systems.

Dr. Rhonda L. Millikin
Chief Research Officer
Dr. Rhonda Millikin is the Director of Environmental and Plant Sciences at Hunter WEST, contributing deep expertise in ecology, soil science, and sustainable land management.
She holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the Royal Military College of Canada, an MSc in Applied Ecology from the University of British Columbia, and additional certifications in Landscape Horticulture and Soil Biology Assessment.
Her work focuses on integrating ecological principles into agrivoltaic system design, ensuring environmental sustainability, soil health, and long-term agricultural productivity.

Isaac Fairhurst
​Digital Platform Developer
Isaac Fairhurst is the Digital Strategy and Platform Development intern at Hunter WEST, supporting the advancement of the company’s technology ecosystem.
His work focuses on open-source architecture, integrating software development, sensor systems, power electronics, and hydraulic controls for agrivoltaic applications. He plays a key role in the development of the MULE (Motorized Utility Land Equipment) platform and its integration with data systems.

Andy Hira
Policy and Strategic Affairs Advisor
Dr. Andy Hira is a Policy and Strategic Affairs Advisor at Hunter WEST and a Professor of Political Science at Simon Fraser University.
He also leads the Clean Energy Research Group (CERG) and has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications. His expertise spans energy and environmental policy, innovation systems, global political economy, and sustainable development.
At Hunter WEST, he provides strategic guidance on policy alignment, research integration, and long-term development frameworks.
